Access Private Interconnect Orders Dashboard

Procedure
  1. Log in to Oracle® Intelligent Communications Orchestration Network cloud service using an admin account.
  2. Once you are on the Accounts page, an “Action Required” message is displayed if there are any pending actions related to private interconnect orders.
  3. Follow the instructions displayed on the page, typically indicated by the “Update and Submit” prompt.
  4. Click Update and Submit to proceed to the next step.
  5. You can also navigate to the dashboard at any time by selecting Private Interconnect Orders from the left navigation menu.

    Note:

If an update or terminate action is required and is not completed within two weeks of placing the order, you will be redirected to the Private Interconnect Order Dashboard. Access to other Oracle® Intelligent Communications Orchestration Network cloud service pages will remain restricted until the pending action is completed.

Update a Private Interconnect

Procedure
  1. From your Private Interconnect Orders page, select the orders that need an update.

Interconnects with “Info Required” status must be updated.

  2. Click Edit.
The New Private Interconnect page opens.
  3. Enter the required details.
    • Name - Specify a name for the private interconnect.
    • Provider - Select the provider (Equinix or Megaport).
    • Region - Select the region where the interconnect is delivered.
    • Customer Account- Select the customer account.
    • Service Assignment - Select the appropriate service.
  4. Click Update and Close.

The updated interconnects appear on the Private Interconnect Orders page with the status “Ready to Submit.”

  5. Select all interconnects with the “Ready to Submit” status.

For orders with a quantity greater than one, the dashboard displays multiple entries for the same SKU, with each entry representing an individual interconnect. All entries associated with the same order must be submitted together as a single submission.

  6. Click Submit on your Private Interconnect Orders page.

A “Submit Interconnect Information” pop-up is displayed, prompting you to confirm the submission.

  7. Click Submit in the “Submit Interconnect Information” pop-up to confirm.

Once submitted, the private interconnect details cannot be modified. To make any changes after submission, you must contact Oracle Support.

The status of the interconnects changes to “Submitted.”

    Monitor the status updates:

    • If updates are required, the status changes to “Correction Required”. Edit the interconnect from the dashboard, update the details, and resubmit.
    • If provisioning is successful, the status changes to “Provisioned.”

Terminate a Private Interconnect

When an order is received that reduces the number of private interconnects, the Oracle® Intelligent Communications Orchestration Network cloud service may require additional information to determine which interconnects should be removed or terminated.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Private Interconnect Orders dashboard.

A message is displayed indicating the interconnects that require termination.

  2. Select the interconnects to terminate.
  3. Click Submit on your Private Interconnect Orders page.

A “Terminate Interconnects” pop-up message appears, displaying detailed information about the interconnects selected for termination. The confirmation message also indicates that all services currently using the interconnect will revert to OTT connectivity upon termination

  4. Click Submit in the “Terminate Interconnects” pop-up to proceed.

The selected interconnects move to the "Termination Pending" status. After the termination process is completed, the interconnects move to the "Terminated" status.

Viewing Interconnect Details and History

  1. From the Private Interconnect Orders dashboard, click the name of the interconnect.

The Interconnect Details page opens, displaying the interconnect details and the history of actions performed on that interconnect.
